McCormick Beef has been involved in the beef industry for over 60 years. Developing from a commercial beef cow herd and feedlot to a Red Angus and Charolais seedstock operation. In the fall of 2003 ten head, four registered, of Red Angus cows due to calve that spring were purchased and McCormick Beef has slowly developed into a 150 cow herd of spring and fall calving cows. Charolais was added as a complimentary breed in 2010. Charolais provide additional performance, maintain carcass quality, and allow our customers to maximize heterosis.
Mission Statement
To provide profitable genetics to commercial cattleman by stressing mothering ability, moderate mature cow size, fertility, and udder structure in our cow herd in addition to selecting performance oriented sires that emphasize moderate birth weights, weaning and yearling performance, and carcass merit without deviating from the aforementioned virtues that are instilled in the cow herd.
